We make attending HSC accessible by providing a broad Scholarship Program in our Senior School, Financial Aid and Tuition Payment Choices.

Senior School Scholarships Program for September 2016

Please submit all completed scholarship applications to the Main Office by Friday, November 20, 2015.

Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships are offered to students entering Grade 9.  All new candidates must submit a regular Application for Admission, as well as the completed Scholarship Application(s).  Our Academic Scholarships are valued from $1,000-$10,000 and are offered as a one-time awards.

Alumni Association Leadership Awards

The Alumni Association Leadership Awards celebrate two students annually (one male and one female) entering Grade 9.  All new candidates must submit a regular Application for Admission, as well as the completed Scholarship Application(s).  These awards highlight and recognize the leadership achievements and potential of each recipient.  Each scholarship is valued at $10,000 and is offered as a one-time award.

Arts Scholarship 

Awarded to a new or current student entering Grade 9, 10 or 11.  All new candidates must submit a regular Application for Admission, as well as the completed scholarship application(s).

The purpose of this scholarship is to celebrate and support an exceptional student’s long term ambition and passion for the arts.  It is valued at 70% of tuition for up to four years and is only offered when the current recipient graduates or leaves the College. 

Alumni Association Legacy Honoraria 

For new or current students successfully entering Grade 9.  This one-time honorarium, in the amount of $500, will be given to any child or grandchild of an alumnus to celebrate the family’s legacy at the College.  An alumnus is defined as any student who fulfilled a minimum of one year at HSC (or its predecessors). Current students will be recognized during Grade 8 graduation. 

Financial Aid

The financial aid program is designed to assist parents/ guardians who expect their annual family income to grow as their children grow.  It affords parents an opportunity to enrol their children immediately and work up to being a full fee payer.  In addition the program provides short-term assistance to existing families.  To learn more about our Financial Aid Program, please contact Scott Barton, Director of Admissions at scott.barton@hsc.on.ca or by calling 905-389-1367 ext. 137.
